Liz Rognes is a singer/songwriter and multi-genre artist based in Saint Paul, MN. She grew up in rural Iowa, surrounded by cornfields, prairie, and her father's eccentric love for miniature animals. Santa brought her a piano at the age of two, and she has been playing ever since. She is classically trained as a soprano and has studied music theory and composition. She has a B.A. in Music, 2005, and is about to embark on the lucrative task of attaining an M.F.A. in creative writing. Red Flags (Deep Sea Productions, 2009) is her first full-length album.
